On 28th October 2024, the honorable Minister of Home Affairs and the Chief Representative of JICA, Bhutan Office attended the inauguration ceremony of the opening of the Educational Room and Exhibition of Artist Collaboration at the Royal Heritage Museum, Trongsa.
The Educational Room is designed to provide additional space and opportunity to the students with an immersive learning environment. For that purpose, the room is equipped with technology and resources enabling museum to enhance the way of educating students about Bhutan’ history and cultural heritage. To achieve the objectives, JICA, Bhutan Office has supported with televisions, laptop and tablets through JAAB Mini Grant Scheme.
The Artist Collaboration Room was created to provide space for the interested local artist to showcase their artwork to the visitors. This will not only bring community closer to museum but also to develop community through such program.
